If the secondary effect is that someone leaves the program, then you don't consider it, Because you know what the secondary effect of that is? Guys get hurt, guys transfer, guys don't pan out, guys go to the NBA and you're left without the talent to compete.

We don't talk about it a lot, but a big part of "big boy" recruiting is to get guys to sign on when the path to minutes isn't so obvious. To keep guys happy when they get just 22 minutes a game instead of 32. The great thing about being a consistent winning program is that you start develop that culture.

I feel you big boy! Not even smoke in the air today! Smells to me like we are in talks with one of those hard to deal with families, or AAU coach led handler situation. Those are messy and someone always loses a girlfriend or boyfriend over them.

They have to run to every other program with numbers and say "here's the number to beat."

It's exciting, but I miss the signed letter in the mail, arrives 4 days later, I'll be there for 4 years and win my playing time part of it. The ole ticker can't handle thos every year...

So, let’s make Illinois look bad first…Well, I guess we can’t complain about admissions anymore when it comes to our ceiling in football /s.

I’m happy if we do admit him with the credits he desires and the news is true.
