On the whole TSJ summer school thing, couldn’t he have just paid for his own summer school to finish the degree? Or is that not allowed because he needs to enroll at Illinois/Michigan for summer workouts?

I am 60 and am waiting for a Rose Bowl win to go with an NCAA basketball title.

1984 Rose Bowl UCLA 45 Illinois 9
2002 Sugar Bowl (BCS bumped B10 champ from Rose Bowl) LSU 47 Illinois 34. Was like a home game for LSU
2008 Rose Bowl USC 49 Illinois 17

Counting on Brett to make it happen!
I believe Illinois beat the Washington Huskies in 1964 in the Rose Bowl which I got to see. Butkus and Grabowski led the way. However, I wouldn't mind seeing them win another. The score was 17 to 7.

The "who's gonna transfer out" hand-wringers all need to calm their t*ts and give their balls a tug. The game is afoot. Let's stop picking nits on how the sausage is being made.

For once, instead fretting and typing out every thought in a rushed response, just trust the guy stuffing the casing, would ya? He's good and the proverbial sausage will be too :chief:

Hunter Dickinson continues to prove what an idiot he is.

Texas Tech isn't going to pay for a guy to attend classes over the Summer so he can grad transfer and go play somewhere else next season. THAT. IS. NOT. A. THING.

Michigan's admission office is draconian in allowing credits to transfer over. So TSJ would have basically lost all his credits and been a Freshman again at Michigan. This HAS been an issue for Illinois in the past, but Whitman likely was able to get a waiver and common sense prevailed at Illinois. It's Michigan's fault here with their transfer policy at their Admissions Office. This is not Texas Tech's fault at all.
Illinois admissions are the BOSS!!!

I don't think this is the right attitude. The guy played hard for us and had some great moments. I he leaves, we should wish the young man well and hope for his success wherever he lands.
I wished him well when I posted the gif. Typing my thoughts out didnt seem necessary at the time. Especially since its all speculation right now anyway.

I am really getting sick of this. Brad keeps saying we are a developmental program, but you need players to stick around to develop last I heard.
