I don’t know who this kid is. I was just being sarcastic in general, given all the giffing going on here. Not directed at you.
If anyone knows who this is, it would be Chester. If Chester thinks this is a guy who would fit, I am ok with this. He has good size, 6-5. You cannot teach length.

I know this is just a highlight. But a jumpy athlete who can shoot, play hard, and have a 3.5 GPA? Sign him up! Oh but he is a 2022 grad. Have we decided keep stacking up 1/2 in 2022? We shall find out.

I think that list is pretty suspect, and by suspect I mean terrible.

Seems like they are holding on to the kids high school rating too much, and not taking into account it is not nearly as difficult to put up big stats in mid and low majors.
I assume Shannon would be higher if people didn't hate Illinois so much.
Lots of interesting bigs on the list that are uncommitted.
They probably use an administrator to come up with this ranking based on HS scores.
Ehhh I think it is pretty accurate. Sure a couple guys are too high up. But overall I think it is pretty fair. I’d have Shannon 10-15 but it’s not a reach to have him 22. Lot of good players on that list. And he only averaged 10/2/2. I can see why some of the mid major guys are ranked high. They are big time scorers and most are committed to quality programs.
Honest question I know the myth around here is when kids commit to Illinois they tend to drop in rankings.. But as long as I can remember I can’t recall a kid moving up in the rankings. What’s with that?
When you have Skyy playing almost like a JA Morant 2.0, no prob.

Meh. Ja's brother, John, never played above the NAIA level and only averaged 5 PPG. Also turned it over at an astounding 6.3/game.
I believe Podz and RJ both moved up in the rankings after their commitments to Illinois.
It's not crazy for late bloomers to not be included. You can find videos and stats on Hudl or a his highschool highlights on YouTube
The first play, mixed with the shooting form. I like him. I am not sure we need him. But I like him.

Stiemke is his nickname. It's really short for Stiemkendurkenziele. Try that and you might have better luck.
So did Ty Rodgers. It’s just a myth. There isn’t a bias. Some guys improve and jump spots and others don’t.
His uncle played third base for the Cardinals. Todd Stiemkendurkenziele, his nickname was Ziele though.
Yep, you're right. Not sure how I missed that. Stiemkendurkenziele is a common name around these parts. Duh! (I'm not too sure where "these parts" are located, though. Hmm.)
You've got be pretty damn good to get 6.3 turnovers per game. that's harder than losing 20 games as a pitcher in the majors.

Yeah, but Todd was an uncle by marriage! You can't count that in the same gene pool. But then again, Jordan's grandma, Jean Stiemkendurkenziele, was a silver medalist in the original Pan Am Games, so there's that.
