He didn’t play well….. and he went 11 and 13. Just sayin’.
against some pretty talent players all trying to impress NBA brassHe didn’t play well….. and he went 11 and 13. Just sayin’.
-21 doesn't look great but plus/minus from a one game sample is pretty irrelevant. It's the 5/14 shooting that concerns me. That'd be bad for a guard chucking up 3s, but it's atrocious for a big who's biggest selling point is his track record of consistently efficient scoring in college.
I know it’s darn near an AAU game but -21 doesn’t look good
I’m not arguing with you and yours and my opinion doesn’t count anyway. Just the NBA scouts. But the talk was he needed to get lighter to improve his quickness and ability to defend the perimeter. I assume that opinion came from the NBA guys. Or maybe not.Muscle weighs more than fat. He can only get so skinny before he's unhealthy. If you saw the pictures posted earlier in this thread, he's about as low as he needs to be health wise. Every person wears their weight differently. Kofi looks amazing and extremely small, or skinny shall I say, for his size. I think he's just perfect.
Pleasantly surprised to see him right next to Timme and above T Williams.
Is it really surprising or good that he's measuring up well with two guys either showing up at the tail end of mock drafts, or not showing up at all?Pleasantly surprised to see him right next to Timme and above T Williams.
That should definitely help sell his potential to learn more basketball skills. That’s really only what he lacks.
He went 5 of 14 shooting and had 7 offensive rebounds. How many of those rebounds were off his own misses? He didn’t play well….. and he went 11 and 13. Just sayin’.
As long Dain Dainja continues the tradition of taking TJD's lunch money when we play them then I don't really care how he feels about Kofi.Anyone else see Trayce Jackson-Davis go back to Indiana and get green with envy about Kofi not returning?
I’m thinking what they lack is what Kofi has naturally. What Kofi lacks is sometimes learnable. Is it really surprising or good that he's measuring up well with two guys either showing up at the tail end of mock drafts, or not showing up at all?
What does that comment imply? I’m not understanding the purpose of it since he can’t go back to school on scholarship
1. That's a much better performance from Kofi, glad to see it.What does that comment imply? I’m not understanding the purpose of it since he can’t go back to school on scholarship
Keon has no memory of this play.
IF my understanding of the rule changes of 2019 are correct ... a player that has college eligibility remaining and declares for the NBA draft, participates in the NBA Combine, and withdraws from the NBA draft before June 1st - IS allowed to return to college to play the upcoming season. Is that correct? Does he lose his scholarship as has been mentioned in a previous post?1. That's a much better performance from Kofi, glad to see it.
2. I think it's just a joke about how many reporters are interested in him. Like, if he were doing something especially newsworthy (like withdrawing from the draft) that would explain the interest level.
I'm pretty sure the rule is that a player can do that (declare for draft and then withdraw and return to school) twice. After he used those two freebies, if he declares a third time he's no longer eligible to return to NCAA basketball. Kofi has already declared and returned after both his freshman and sophomore seasons, so he is done.IF my understanding of the rule changes of 2019 are correct ... a player that has college eligibility remaining and declares for the NBA draft, participates in the NBA Combine, and withdraws from the NBA draft before June 1st - IS allowed to return to college to play the upcoming season. Can someone please photoshop Dickerson, Bohannon or Davidson's face on this for old time sakes
