It demonstrates the need to recruit multiple lead guard options. A team that started 15-0 finished 19-11 largely because there was only one.Not to be rude, but how does this conversation about 1970s-1980s players benefit the recruiting thread?
I could be mistaken, but I believe we last wore them at Rutgers in December 2020. I don't mind because I don't think they look that good, and we never win in them either.

Just a perk of CU campusI had a dream last night, and Pete Nance was in it. He said, why are there so many naked women around here? I said, don't worry about it Pete.
In retrospect, I should have asked for a recruiting scoop.
So all we need to do is just sit our critical/injury-prone players for the game after we play OSU and we're good, right? Or is it for the OSU game?It demonstrates the need to recruit multiple lead guard options. A team that started 15-0 finished 19-11 largely because there was only one.
It helps us understand the significant strides made in the repair of knee injuries. We all feel better about Skyy’s injury having lived through the Lanter years!!!Not to be rude, but how does this conversation about 1970s-1980s players benefit the recruiting thread?
I have a pair of those shorts!!!View attachment 18436
I wish we had these blues in the rotation instead
Maybe against Sparty? So all we need to do is just sit our critical/injury-prone players for the game after we play OSU and we're good, right? Or is it for the OSU game?
It’s about time we have 2005 era throwbacks. If we already have our current white and orange throwbacks this set could make a lot of sense.View attachment 18436

Me too.I have a pair of those shorts!!!
While there's a lull in recruiting news it passes time reinforcing our love of the program via recounting its history. It's more interesting and useful to some than making the nth speculation concerning Pete Nance.
See, this is exactly why historical digressions within the recruiting thread are crucial. So all we need to do is just sit our critical/injury-prone players for the game after we play OSU and we're good, right? Or is it for the OSU game?
It absolutely does not.Not to be rude, but how does this conversation about 1970s-1980s players benefit the recruiting thread?
I missed that part.Just a perk of CU campus
I missed that part.
I wish we would have had those two guys with Kofi. LolView attachment 18436

Thankfully, I did not. The pool at 1st and Daniel was pretty wild back in '05. I think that was when AB introduced the Busch Light "cube" for like $12.99!I missed that part.
A few questions: Where did Nance go to high school? I assume that he, like other players in the portal, has an agent. I also assume his agent will be part (NIL) of the recruiting process, probably more so than the NCAA likes? I assume our collective of deep pocketed alums will work with that agent? Any help appreciated; I'm working on an article. Finally, what are our odds with Nance? Would you say 50-50?
It will help our new players and recruits identify their potential place in our history. It absolutely does not.
He went to Revere high school in Richfield, Ohio and his agent is from Priority Sports which is based in Chicago. As for the odds of getting him, 10-20% maybe and new things would have to play out probably for him to come to Illinois.A few questions: Where did Nance go to high school?
