Replay is here:

Perrin has a bright future, believe he is still 17 years old or just turned 18. The dou that created the nickname "Daddy Brad" compared him to a YMCA player. This is nonsence, might have highest ceiling on team.

Not uber athlete, but is long and skilled. Will see what next two years brings but I see him a contibutor sophomore year. Freshmen class of Ty, Epps, Sincere, Skyy and Perrin is crazy good.

And maybe Moretti?

Matt Mayer cut the mullet ... Highly disappointing lol ...

Dainja looks the part ... I got to see a little preview of a side-by-side comparison from when he got here until now ... WOW, I hope Fletch posts that one

I think for me I expected Skyy, Ty, and Epps to all be ready and they look ready ...

The biggest surprise to me is Harris ... He might be the most athletic kid Brad has had and he is so freaking long it's insane and he loves to talk trash and isn't afraid to back it up ... Kinda like Trent in that way ... May not be a major player right away but Harris is gonna be a fan favorite ...

If I had one thing to kinda nitpick ... It would be Hawkins ... I just wish he would take the next step as a leader ... I mean he is the most experienced guy in terms of being at Illinois that we have and he spends a lot of time just clowning around and not being mentally freaking focused ... I know we have been blessed with Trent and Ayo and DMFW but I really thought Coleman would step up and it's just not the case ... Goode, and TJ were probably the most vocal guys ...
CHawk boneheaded plays fouls we're backbreaking to watch. Was really hoping he would clean up the simple stuff... This is disappointing to hear.

You have to add Dainja into that Freshman class too. He will no doubt get the injury waiver year.

He is a transfer regardless of years of elgibility. The class of Hawkins, Miller and Curbelo was very good except 2/3 has now transferred.

Regarding Perrin, he reminds me of Channing Frye.

Man could you imagine if Dain is able to keep the defense honest from deep?

I’m not expecting him to go out and shoot 40% from 3 on high volume, but just knowing he could stick it if you leave him would be a threat most probably weren’t expecting coming in to the season.
If he can play defense we won’t miss Kofi but that is a big “if” for me until I see him play. Hope it is just ignorance on my part.

That’s what Dickinson is beginning to develop.

Houston didn't need any 3s from their center to beat the illini and now that the illini have taller guards who can more easily get their shots there will not be as much need for 3s from the front court.

Replacing 216 three's from 3 guys (Plummer, Frazier and Grandison) will be one of our major challenges this year.
Mayer and Shannon combined last year had 77.
RJ, Goode, skyy and Epps should help with that. But you’re right, we’ll need to make threes to be competitive national.

I doubt that we attempt to replace that many threes. We shot 821 of them last year (third most in school history). I'd expect us to shoot at least 100 fewer this year, if not 200 fewer.
