Not a good last few weeks for Nick. The missed tourneys from either illness or injury hurt his chances to get into the top 125. Hopefully he can regain his card for next year.

Nick will be playing the next 3-4 weeks in the KFT finals. He also has 4 starts he can use as medical exemption as he was injured for 4 weeks. At the very worst since he finished in the top 150 of the FedEx cup he will get approximately 15 starts next year.

The PGA Tour is in playoff mode so only the top certain number qualify for the last few tourneys. Detry doesn't play on the PGA Tour but a few tourneys a year usually so if in the states the Korn Ferry tournament is the only game in town this week. There are some random European players in the KFT this week that don't play often.

Pieters is actually the favorite (8-1) going by odds starting the D+D Real Czech Masters. Has actually won it a few times.

The Korn Ferry is kind of like the minors of golf. That being said there are random times during the year where you do have a few more competitive guys get exemptions into tourneys like this. Think the favorite was around 22-1 range. My guess Hardy and Detry are probably in the 30-1 to 40-1 range before tourney started. I could be wrong but I don't think Detry has ever played a Korn Ferry event until this one.

Detry is going for a PGA Tour card, only reason he'd be here. The KFT Finals is different from the regular Korn Ferry Tour; the standings reset, and only the KFT Top 75 and PGA 126-200 (or equivalent non-members) can play. Detry played well enough in The Open and Scottish Open (both PGA co-sponsored) to get in as a non-member, joining a handful of other international players.

25 cards are up for grabs in the three-tournament series, so one strong weekend (i.e. top 5) would probably be enough to get a card. After Boise, the next two tournaments are in Columbus and Newburgh, IN, so hopefully a return to the midwest helps them both.

Currently Thomas is T14 and Nick is T19 with a few holes left, so they should be in good position for the weekend!

I forgot about that. They keep changing it up cause it is different in 2023

Detry is way to good not to have a PGA Tour card. Hopefully he can have some kind of run in one of these tourneys cause he is already 29.

Rough day for Pieters...playing in the final group. Had 2-3 birdie putts early on that wouldn't drop. Then a triple bogey on 11 sealed his fate. Ended up even on the day and tied for 8th.

Hardy with a strong day today(-7) to move into 9th place in the 2nd of 3 Korn Ferry Tour events. He's projected into 10th position in the finals rankings...top 25 get tour cards. A continued strong finish on the weekend could pretty much secure his card for 2023. Detry finished top 5 last week so a decent finish in the next 2 events could lock him in also. Unfortunately had a bad round today(+3) and missed the cut. Still, he's projected in 11th place in the rankings so I would figure if he just makes cut next week he'll get his card...although he may get it anyway with his top 5 last week. Missing the cut next week though would probably have him sweating it out.

Hardy follows yesterday's 64 with a 65 today to get into a T2. His projected rank improved to 3. It would be great to see him get the win tomorrow but a decent round should get him his card.

Not a great start for Nick...5 over on the front 9.
Yep...plummeting down the leaderboard.Too bad because he's in the final pairing so he would have had a ton of tv time...not so much now. Pressure getting to him?☹

Hardy shot 77 today +6. No birdies. Hard to believe after he destroyed the course Fri-Sat with a 64 and 65.
