Nitpicking but Powell was actually Joliet CentralJoliet West is definitely not a basketball factory but has produce some college talent Roger Powell
But Central is West of EastNitpicking but Powell was actually Joliet Central
But Central is West of East
Maybe it's me, but I think this backdrop is really poorly executed. Go ahead and stand in the middle, completely covering the Jordan logo and the name of the school. Also can be messed up by weather and the position of the sun. Plus 30 barely different shoes? Meh.
Not to continue to pick nits, but I’m pretty sure he was referring to Roger Powell Jr. Senior went to central. Jr went to west.Nitpicking but Powell was actually Joliet Central
What about Luther Powell Jr?Not to continue to pick nits, but I’m pretty sure he was referring to Roger Powell Jr. Senior went to central. Jr went to west.
What about Luther Vandross Jr.? Joliet East? What about Luther Powell Jr?
He also already played a college season and had a major drop-off. Not even close to the same.Emoni Bates top 6

Eastern Michigan
Final destination, Eastern Michigan. At least we think. I'm guessing there's been ongoing negotiations with a pro team from Hungary or thereabouts.
Both went to Central but I digressNot to continue to pick nits, but I’m pretty sure he was referring to Roger Powell Jr. Senior went to central. Jr went to west.
Jeremiah is clearly better
No he's not. Again, just more hate because Jeremy committed somewhere else.Jeremiah is clearly better than Jeremy.
Uhhh, no he has been at La Lumiere for a couple years now. That's where he was at when we were recruiting him and I'd say it is a basketball factory. Is Joliet West a basketball factory? That is where he was attending high school when Illini were recruiting him. He just recently moved to Overtime Elite, so that was not a factor one way or another. Also, I thought at the time when we “pulled back,” it was that he was a shortish guard who didn’t shoot particularly. I also disagree with your premise that Illini aren’t in a position to turn down a 4-star player. If he’s not a good fit, we’re actually in the position that we don’t need to take a top 50 player just because he’s highly rated.
I disagree with that completely. If somebody like Fears wants to commit, especially with a talented younger brother a couple years away, you take him. It's the whole promising a certain role that would be a hangup. He has plenty of intangibles and connections to want him on your team. There is a reason he is #40 in the country.I just told you Underwood didn’t want him because he is a below average shooter that he didn’t feel we needed with the current roster
Not sure what you are disagreeing with here....BU decided he wouldn't take him and he commited elsewhere.... also it seems like it has had no effect on younger Fears....you seem to be the only person bothered......I don't get it...I disagree with that completely. I’ll make sure to tell Brad you disagreed with his decision.I disagree with that completely. BU is gonna be upset after he learns of thisbelieve what you want to believe...no skin off of anyone's nose
This is why. People claim that the baggage is why we didn't want Fears. That's fine if they believe that. Then we don't need to talk about Jeremiah because he has the same dad who is just as involved. Not sure what you are disagreeing with here....BU decided he wouldn't take him and he commited elsewhere.... also it seems like it has had no effect on younger Fears....you seem to be the only person bothered......I don't get it...
No, I disagree with some of the posters' takes on the situation.I’ll make sure to tell Brad you disagreed with his decision.
