Actually, it is.

First, offer lists don't always mean they're committable. You really believe that he picked EMU over Michigan?

Second, lots of people were saying the same thing about Bates that you are saying about Fears. "No way you pass on a guy with that much talent." Yet, people did.

Have no idea how interested staff is, but he's coming for a visit so there's something there from both sides.

And, FWLIW, people often believe that getting one sibling gives you an angle for the next, but it just doesn't seem to hold much truth at the top 50 level. Seems like far more exceptions that actual times it's happened.
It's really not the same. Playing a year with zero production on the court is definitely different than a high school prospect who's only issue is he wants to start right away.

Second, people get courted all the time knowing they won't be attending, just for the sake of being courted.

Third, the Fears brothers are very close and always talked about playing together.

We'll see, Jeremy is a winner and it's a shame he's playing for a conference Rival. Thankfully Skyy fellnin our lap. Im well aware that has a lot to do with our coaching staff's efforts though.

Just about every girl I talk to in a bar can relate to this.

Were you at the bar in 1852?

I'm sure every brother tandem has talked about this.

I would not be shocked if he ended up at Michigan St. one bit.

No he's not. Again, just more hate because Jeremy committed somewhere else.
I'm pretty sure you can go back and look at this board probably around March? talking about Jeremy when we thought he was going to be an Illini and see there was talk about Jeremiah being even better. It was when Jeremy visited and SFC started chanting "we want Jeremy"

Has nothing to do with hate. I think everyone here wants Jeremy to do well (except against us).

Whatever Brad's reason for not taking him (0440 is pretty well connected), we will not know for sure, but we are in a race for Jeremiah and Brad will either not get him, pass on him, or take him. We will just have to wait and see.

PS Jeremiah is better than Jeremy

Joel Goodson

respect my decision™
So is Nojus still coming to C/U on the 27th??

No clue, but hopefully. He'll be back home by then (FIBA Euro 16U final is this Saturday, 8/20), so I imagine he'll want to come down with his present and future teammates (hopefully, with a gold medal too).

I would tell you to stop, but you are a wonderful comic relief so please... continue.

This is why. People claim that the baggage is why we didn't want Fears. That's fine if they believe that. Then we don't need to talk about Jeremiah because he has the same dad who is just as involved.
Uhh…. 0440 didn’t say anything about too much baggage. It was not enough baskets that was the problem

He seems very proficient at getting to the hoop and finishing with either hand.
I was thinking the opposite. Out of the 6 or so drives shown only 2 were going left and he only finished 1 with his left hand. Still a great tape though - seems to have good instincts for when to drive and can finish

PS... Jeremy is better in every regard other than shooting. It's not even close. You win with his intangibles. But Jeremiah has two years to make up the difference, so time will tell.
