Lithuania upset Spain, 77-68, for the FIBA Euro U16 title. Nojus had a rough shooting day (it happens).
Too much expectations on Skyy, Im hoping he handles the PG position well and our Jr/Sr lead. His final ranking was the low 30's and coming off am injury I'd think he would be around 2 years.
Still made the all tournament team
I don't disagree. But we're like any fan base -- our players are always better than their rankings (for whatever reason we can come up with).

As far as Skyy goes, I am OK if he only plays to his ranking (i.e., a little bit worse than Ayo but better than Ace.)
I'm just going to say this one more time !!l Skyy Clark is top ten player in the country !!!! His low ranking has nothing to do with his talent and everything to do with an injury in case you have not heard he is 100 percent healed. The only reason that he is in a Illinois uniform is because of Kentucky's stupidity!!! He is a one and done player. All of this laughable garbage about others on the team being better than him is a joke. He will lead the team in scoring without a doubt. This young man has played in big games and been in the spotlight for years

kentucky gave a kid a scholarship to use practice at there facility and never play a minute for there team. Cal wants UK next to NBA players names.

Anybody know what the level of competition at these events are? Like is it comparable to EYBL? Higher? Lower?
I assume the players are really good, but EYBL has that extra level of D1+ length and athleticism (and depth of it) which I imagine would be hard to find outside the states.
Amen. I think the staff has shown they can identify guys early enough that they have a pretty good hit rate. Roster construction has been night and day better since Underwood turned the program around.
I think Fears will do well at MSU, but that doesn't mean he'd have been a great fit here.
We will see, but Illinois has two battle tested Sr. veterans with NBA type measrables. Also expect more out of CoHawk and Melendez. NBA values certain skill types and if Skyy fits that mold he will go. If he doesn't he will remain for couple more years like Ayo and Kofi.
