Glad we have at least one hoops prospect on campus for this game. Happy that McKinney will be on campus for HC.

I want to acknowledge that we are recruiting at a high high level. I am not sad where and who we are targeting. I'm not complaining, but I wonder why we aren't targeting more elite 5 star rated players? I get we target the underappreciated 4 stars that could easily be 5 stars, but is it because we sell ourselves as a development program and it's a sell that doesn't work as well with the top 15? I have just been surprised that once in a while we haven't had our success hasn't put us in contention for more "elite" top 15 talents. Amazing that our sweet spot right now is 30-100. I remember the day when top 100 was a gift! We've come a long long way

If we put another 2-3 guys in the NBA in the next couple years between Shannon, Mayer, Hawkins, RJ, and Skyy, the top 25 talents will start to notice. Right now, the coaching staff is still proving they can do that.

I don't think this staff gives a damn about other services' ratings. They do their own evaluations and if they like what they see, they're going for it

How many kids in the top 25 would come with no little to no parental baggage, while being coachable with Brad's (intense) style, that are team oriented, would put a great team win over individual stats, because there only goal is a national TV audience to show their skills.

Chet Holmgren' and Victor Wembanyama are not the real NBA unicorns.

Ayo Dosunmu is the realest of mythical creatures.

I'm equally excited about the recent recruiting success and I think we look successful because we've gone after guys that we can get.

Keep in mind that we haven't played a single game with the 2022, 2023 and 2024 recruits yet. It's been a long summer dreaming about all the games and championships we're going to win and now we need to go out there and actually win them so we can take recruiting up another notch!

I'm also guessing that NIL expectations get higher in the top 25 or 15 and we're maximizing value not throwing all our money at one recruit
