I'm guessing they bring somebody in. Would have to be the right fit and everything, but with Laughery and McCray having injury riddled seasons, I would think they'd want another experienced RB.
Canada in particular has a very impressive list of offers.
McCray, love and laughery isn’t a bad 1,2,3 rb combination. I’m sure anderson and feagin can crack that rotation much like mccray did his freshman year. But I wouldn’t be concerned with the rb position as much as im concerned with db, d line and starting qb for next year.

Also no Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, LSU, Ohio State, scUM or Notre Shame. We have as good a chance as any of the teams in his final 12. I-L-L
(and like you said, no MAC schools, like we would have been competing with under previous coaching staffs).
What kind of receiver is Miller? Possession? Slot? I am not familiar with his game at all but know he was highly regarded.

When did the transfer portal start really heating up last year in terms of players announcing they would be transferring? Seems like we could really use another DeVito from the portal to keep things moving next year.
Also figure that any teams that are not bowl eligible will see some announcements next week.

DeVito committed on December 10. It's all but a guarantee that our 2023 starting quarterback is not in the program right now, but will be by the bowl game.

I can’t answer your question as to when it hit it’s peak last season, but there are players entering nearly everyday. There were some deadline dates established for this coming season, but I don’t recall them off hand.
Edit: I found this on ESPN, but I’m not quite sure because players are already announcing and it’s prior to the window.
“The Division I Council approved in August new transfer window dates for when players can enter the portal. Instead of being able to leave a school at any time, players now have to enter the portal within set dates. The first window opens the day after the championship teams are selected, which will be Dec. 5, and closes 45 days later on Jan. 18, 2023. There is also a 15-day spring period from May 1-15.”

Cade Mcnamara would be a good qb fit if he transfers from mich. Obviously there’s more talented potential qb transfers, he just feels like a BB type qb option to go after but that’s all a matter if he transfers.
