I’m hoping our insiders can bring us a rational thought but I also feel the reality of the situation is:

I don't get what's going on with this team at all.

I do. They've tuned the coaches out. CoHawk literally said it in an interview. He's lost half the team. Unfortunately it's the experienced half. They look almost uninterested at times. CoHawk, MM, RJ, and TSJ...I've seen every one of them lost or tuned out on defense...and making pitiful decisions on offense.

I don’t see nba players out of the three we were expecting. At least not yet, and where is the jump from RJ everyone was expecting

Hawkins HAS to be a scorer everyone just plays him to pass. Guard him with a 6'4 guy and he can't do anything. Why is there not sets to post him. He plays like a bad guard at this point.

2 things.

Northwestern wouldn’t go on a 12-0 run against the 40 year old 6-3 and under guys I hoop with at Lifetime Fitness.

Hawkins may be better suited for the NBA game than college. Where he can be the 5th option on the floor and pick up a couple buckets here and there. And the NBA game is primarily ISO and may get into some 2 man game from time to time. But offenses are less complex, so he may seem like a better defender because he’s only gotta guard someone for 24 seconds.

Just doesn’t seem like Brad is reaching this team. Certainly not that he isn’t trying. I just don’t see the “every day guy” mentality from the majority of the players. The few that do are pups (Epps, Harris). Guess that’s the risk you taking using the portal to fortify your upperclassmen on the roster.
