I've never cared less about an Illini basketball team in the 40+ years I have been a fan. And this all happened in the span of 5 games in 29 days. Astonished at the absolute lack of any mental toughness from anybody associated with this team. Wow. Really dark time for this Illini fan who has been through some doozy dark times.

I do. They've tuned the coaches out. CoHawk literally said it in an interview. He's lost half the team. Unfortunately it's the experienced half. They look almost uninterested at times. CoHawk, MM, RJ, and TSJ...I've seen every one of them lost or tuned out on defense...and making pitiful decisions on offense.

If this is true then bench them. You have nothing to lose at this point.

That’s an exaggeration. You could say Michigan looked done after losing to CMU. This team will figure it out but the chance to win a conference title likely was lost tonight.

Finally someone where the sky is not falling. We knew it would be up and down this year. Just did not know it would be this down. I thought this team would influence the BIG title and possibly finish in the top 3-4 but NOT win it. Texas got my hopes up. I am not accepting that we are an NIT team. We will make the tourney. You are right about Michigan. N.C. looked terrible at the beginning of the year. We can still turn it around.
