I like how we've really taken care of business in the 2nd half of the last few games...must be dumb luck as some on here have pointed out that Brad doesn't make adjustments.
Yeah, he played really hard and played like he was there to contribute. I loved seeing it. For him to even be able to get and fight for a couple rebounds. Win some 50/50 balls and effort plays, that's just huge in that situation. 9 minutes is a looooooooong time to play as a 3rd string center. Any contribution you can make is more than is expected so to go out and actually positively contribute to the game throughout and not allow the other team to go on a huge run by picking on you is a big deal. He did better than anyone can ever ask of for a 3rd stringer so as I said, good on him.

great game Illini..............overcame foul trouble and got great contributions from the bench , namely Ty Rodgers and Lieb.................The spread offense has unleashed some of our better drivers to the rim and opened up the paint for Dain to do his ballet moves.......If Dain keeps working hard with Fletch and watches his diet , then I see a 1st or 2nd team B$G in his future........so quick and plays great D...
MM with his first career double double......wow , what a player he has been over the last 10-11 games ....they showed a comparison of his first 7-8 games and then his last few games and something has clicked .....interesting that has happened with a roster adjustment , but I will leave it at that.......
TSJ took a dirty elbow to the ribs area as he was running through the lane and it was a warranted flagrant foul call.......The more our lead grew the more dirty dem rascally rodents played ...........
Sincere with 8 rebounds and the circus shot was a joy to watch .....I'm glad he is getting so much tick as his energy is rubbing off on the whole team..

You know you've had an efficient win when you beat the 186th team in Kenpom and managed to move up two places. We moved from 23rd to 21st.
JMHO, but I think it's fairly obvious from our difference in play that no one on THIS roster was the problem. I am going to remember this game as the Lieb game. After all the work he has put in without a word, this was a good reward.

Honestly? For me at the time it was. Seemed like wherever there was smoke of things going on off-court he was nearby. Sometimes you're just in the wrong place at the wrong time, but yeah, three weeks ago if you would've asked me if there's one person responsible for the drama going on behind the scenes, I would've guessed him. I definitely accept that not being correct, but yeah, I'd be dishonest if I said it isn't surprising to me that he wasn't involved whatsoever and was simply there.
His comments to the media and poor defensive effort against Northwestern seemed like he wasn’t on the same page as the coaching staff.
But he’s been great since then so maybe it was just me
