It wasn’t just you. He did make some comments that were a bit unusual. I think he has said recently he should let have? Not sure

But I think the “poor defensive effort” was “fake news” as they say.

Looking at Mayer’s excellent play, the reports of him tussling with Clark before the Missouri game, and some of his comments to the media around that time… maybe he shouldn’t have done the latter, but to me it’s very clear who was causing many (most? all?) of the locker room problems. And it wasn’t Mayer.

That’s of course before we even get to “take 0440’s word for it!”

Great dub. Strangely was never really worried, even after we went down early in the 2nd half. The way we were controlling the glass and forcing them into tough jumpers (which they were making at a high clip), it felt like only a matter of time until we blew it open. This defense is humming. Credit Ty Rodgers. He had some stops that won’t show up on the stat sheet. Also seeing why Mayer said “I want to be B1G DPoY” because he’s starting to live up to that accolade.

Mayer’s turnaround has been unreal. I thought he was a culture cancer 2-3 weeks ago and now he looks like the team leader.

BTW , I didn't include Mr. Epps in my praise of the bench players as I feel we have a starting 6 lineup , as BU always brings Jayden in @ the first media timeout and he pretty much stays in the rest of the game almost......

question for you 0440........................How many years does DD have left AFTER this year if he decides to use them .....I always saw him listed as a redshirt frosh .....??
