Lost some nose tackles this offseason and this is a guy that can contribute due to injury or if need rotational depth. Might not be a star name or proven but any depth on the lines is good.

Pro- Georgia might have been one of the few exceptions with their insane depth. They could ran the barge as a base offense some games lol.
Con- Nebraska would be Gilbert's FOURTH school (LSU, Florida, Georgia, and now Nebraska) and this is his third transfer.
How is this dude immediately eligible or did I miss something?

Walk-ons can play right away.
Ford was highly rated but a former walk-on caught more passes then him at Illinois.
Ford contributes a lot in run blocking and special teams, which is why he saw the field as much as he did despite being rarely targetted in the passing game.
NCAA hands out waivers like Halloween candy ... BUT if you have a sick grandpa back home that you want to play in front of and are leaving an SEC powerhouse to do it ?

His PFF scores aren't bad, but the lack of playing time, and counting stats, makes you scratch your head. This feels like a pure depth play.
