Adam Miller leaving Illinois has turned into a disaster for him. He tears his ACL at LSU, then his coach is fired.

The new coach has Miller in the corner standing still on offense. He isn't allowed to handle the ball and is the 4th or 5th option for scoring.

He looks like he has regressed. Would take Podz over him any day. Now Podz could be a player for us this year, we would not have scoring droughts.
I don't fully disagree with what you say, but he is 2nd on the team in scoring (as far as I can tell.)

Sad to see Jake sitting the bench while Duke (not sad) loses to Virginia Tech who haven't won a game in the last seven.
Jake only played 9 minutes, but Duke was -17 while he was on the floor and he had zero points.

The worst part being it wasn't really his decision

He is earning a degree from a prestigous univestiy and becoming part of a valuable social network - he will do well. :)
That seems to the assumption that he is in a grad program at Duke. However, it appears that is not the case. From his bio at the Duke website:

  • Is using the 2022-23 season as the additional year of eligibility granted players due to the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Hold his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Illinois and is enrolled in Duke’s continuing studies program
From last year's UI bio:

  • Enrolled in the Gies College of Business master’s degree program in management
  • Earned bachelor’s degree in earth, society, and environmental sustainability in May 2021

Does anybody have the energy to recap all the former Illini currently playing (or not playing) at Jacksonville, S. Carolina, Santa Clara, LSU St. Johns, Duke, etc.? We seem to get hung up on one or two and do not keep abreast of the rest (60% Curbelo, 40% Miller)

Is Pinzon at St John's a former Illini?

Adam Miller not lighting it up tonight vs. Arkansas.

As soon as I type that he scores his first bucket of the game

Thanks for putting in the legwork on this list. I like how each player is contributing to their new teams, and are most likely getting more minutes than if they had stayed at IL.

Miller (from the small sample I watched earlier tonight) didn’t loom good for LSU. They were getting beat and he was shooting over double teams and missing. I feel bad for AceWolf - he’s a good kid.

In 8 Conference Games, Miller is averaging 9 PPG, is shooting 21.4 % on two point field goal attempts, 31.4 % on three point field goal attempts, is averaging 2.3 rebounds per game and 1.3 assists per game against 2.1 turnovers per game. His total TS% is .413. That is, to put it bluntly, pretty awful.
