are there even any women's pro leagues overseas ?I think she could maybe play overseas somewhere for a while. (If she was so inclined.)
This isn't a serious question, right?are there even any women's pro leagues overseas ?
Why do you think Brittney Griner was in Russia? Not only are there overseas pro leagues, but some even pay more than the WNBA and are significantly older.are there even any women's pro leagues overseas ?
I dont follow any womens pro sports and have never once heard about womens pro leagues overseas
The WNBA is on ABC/ESPN/CBS Sports/NBA TV. It's super easy to find during the season. In terms of international basketball, you can typically find FIBA competitions (country vs. country) on Peacock. And EuroLeague games are streamed for free here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChsN13M_uLLQQ8lFewoXxzAhow do you follow them or watch them ?
what tv network is the euro womens league on ?
If that's your thing, it's absolutely worth giving the WNBA a shot. Season starts May 19th. Here's the Chicago Sky's schedule:what I do like about the womens game, is they play below the rim and its more like the way the guys played in college basketball in the 1960's- 1970's. its a much more structured, organized offense, with points coming from set plays and not as much "1 on 1" . ( its how we played the game when I was a lad)
BRucks - Thanks for all the WBB tidbits you unearth. I have enjoyed following them this year and looks like I'm becoming a long term fan. But, being retired in New Orleans, I am a bit out of the local loop. Info you post up has been very informative. Thanks again. Those stats, for those who are interested:

I just stared at this for a good 5 minutes - completely unreal. Anything like this turnaround in any sport?!

The biggest single-season turnaround in college basketball was Iowa State last year. They went from 2-22 in 2020-21 to 22-13 in 2021-22. The major difference would be that Iowa State made the NCAA Tournament 7 of the previous 10 seasons. Meanwhile, we haven't made the NCAA Tournament since 2003. Considering the history of the two programs, I think inarguably our turnaround is the more impressive feat. No one in their wildest dreams could have predicted we'd be this close to an NCAA Tournament birth at the beginning of the season. Hold serve at home and win 1 or 2 away games and we should be easily in the tournament.I just stared at this for a good 5 minutes - completely unreal. Anything like this turnaround in any sport?!

Is she playing against low level competition? Not like it matters if she is putting up 40-50 points a night. Thought I remember reading somewhere that she could have went to a Prep School and decided to stay at high school where her mom coaches instead. I know she comes from a long line of athletes in her family.Dolan's latest game:
