That last 1:23 for Iowa was about the most impressive thing I've seen in a college basketball the past 10 years. The Squawkeyes scored more points in the last minute than we did in the FIRST HALF Thursday night. Now, if they could lose every game by 50 for the next 50 years, cannula maybe be happy once again.

Watching OTE game featuring Illini recruit Gibbs-Lawhorn. Tremendous ability to see the court and pass the ball, an acrobat in the lane with a deadly mid range shot. Seems to play pretty decent defense as well. He's going to be fun to watch.

Everything about what's happening today shows how wide freaking open this season is. Everybody is vulnerable. There's no reason why we can't get hot at the right time and go for a ride to the Final Four. We have the veterans that can take control of a game. We have the defensive stoppers that can shut down other teams' stars. Why not us?
