Luckily it still counts.
This team started off s area and when PSU came from their deficit, Illinois forgot how to pass, dribble and hustle. Missed FTs, too. Oh wait, they were never good at that either. No growth.
Did we expect to be good that year? I know Groce won the Maui the next year with basically the same team

We had Myers Leonard, Brandon Paul, and DJ Richardson. So yes.

So why do we need to be down double digits to start playing smart basketball. I don't get it.
yes.. I remember the feeling.. it the feeling I am having with this team.. actually expecting them to win because of the talent.. but just can't put it together.. finding ways to lose instead of finding ways to win..

I wonder how often we miss the first free throw versus the second? It sure feels like we miss a LOT of the first ones.
