Shedrick was losing minutes it seemed as the season wore on, and then only started getting minutes again after their other big (Vander Plas) went down with an injury. If he was behind Vander Plas in the pecking order, I'm not sure how I excited I am about that one.
He can be a good depth piece behind Dainja and Coleman if Hawkins indeed returns. I would have no problem bringing him in. He would be a role player and I think if he came on board here, that would be clear as day

Thought he was going to Xavier? What changed

Interesting that he would also choose to play for Huggy Bear. Kriisa will have to be on his best behavior now

Thanks. I see it as a reasonable consequence that they then have to face for their decisions. According to Illini 993's post, apparently a non-significant % find out that the grass is not always greener, in fact sometimes there is no grass at all.
You do realize that non-trivial and non-significant are opposites?

Sorry, but I feel this is a not insignificant point.

Inevitable. This is why I think said numbers will eventually be attached to a number of years. Annual mercenary work is not sustainable. These aren't relief pitchers.
I could see a future where recruits are offered actual (NIL sponsored) contracts, replacing the National Letter of Intent, effectively turning the NCAA into a competing league to the G-League. Not ideal imo, but it is what it is.

Shedrick is the type of defensive big who’s a huge get for any team that focuses on good guard play (imo the ideal lineup).
Don’t disagree on Shedrick but just guard play didn’t win it for UConn. Two big dudes in the center scored and were a constant threat. Believe it is the balance that won.

Saw them at Mabel’s circa 1988
Just went down a bit of a rabbit hole with that fun fact. They released Bloodletting in ‘89 so if they played those songs they could have been giving you guys a special preview- the album was recorded in ‘88.

Side note and another fun fact. Apparently there is a Facebook page for people to reminisce about concerts at Mabel’s. Go figure.
