Right… but I don’t think the number 1, 2, or 3 priority for Illinois is finding a guy that can play 10-12 mins off the bench and shooting it somewhat decently
Well, the priority is to find players who will play their roles and will accept their roles(unlike the Skyy Clarks and Jayden Epps of the world). That's what UCONN and San Diego St. did. They found players who were selfless and took one for the team in order to put the team in a better position to be successful. We can agree that the bigger need is a PG but we also need vets who are selfless and will be team first....not me first. It's totally possible that Domask just wants to be on a winner and try to get to the NCAA tournament and is willing to take a reduced role to make that happen. We don't need problem players and I think that is the next step that needs to be taken when it comes to recruiting both high schoolers and transfers.

Pros: looks like a like a good spot up shooter, nice little semi-hook, can do a little booty ball, looks to be a heady ball player, has some grit…LOOKS as though he plays within himself…reminds of Goode somewhat.

Cons: not overly athletic, not an instant offense kinda guy, looks slow as hell,

*Doesn’t anyone follow their dadgum shot anymore?? He didn’t follow one shot in that whole damn reel.

Following your shot is so old school…

If he's a 6th or 7th man how should we feel?

Pissed off if you're Hansberry. I've never liked taking average 5th year seniors and playing them in front of younger guys that can develop. Reminds me too much of Jon Ekey taking PT away from Nunn/Hill.

Great leader for a mid major. Not really cut out to run the floor in the big 10 and provide contributions at the same time, moves around lethargically. Team player, streaky, and used to playing the 4 at 6’6. If he’s getting buzz about being an Illini top priority…. Make sure your panic button has fresh batteries lol
As an Illini fan, my panic button plugs into the wall.

Of course he isn't a top prioriy. Who said he is? If think getting a top PG and if its best for TSJ and or Hawk to come back then that is a top one as well. I do think adding leadership, smarts, experience, solid 3pt and FT shooting, All Valley 1st teamer to be a contributor is a very solid add with nothing but upside if the top priorities are taken care if. Plus in a different system whwre other players get the top defenders who knows he may pop. As I mentioned i will always the a 1st valley guy to play a role every year in the portal.

Edit: I just saw he played 39 min vs Oklahoma St in a win leading scorer with 16, 7 boards, 4 assist.

In BU I trust

It must be wrong then, huh?

So offensive rebounds are undesirable?

Crashing the boards is bad? Period?

What’s the new way standing flat footed on the perimeter?
Well, since you asked.

1. Make your damn shot. Don’t assume it’s going to miss. Believing your shot is going to go in is important.
2. If you are shooting, especially from 3, you are not in the best position to get the rebound anyway.
3. Get back on defense.

Maybe we can trade Brandon Lieb, Connor Serven, and a PTBNL for Domask
