Domask reminds me of Jon Ekey. He’s not gonna hurt you having a guy like that on the roster. But he’s only likely here just 1 season. So I don’t think it helps in building a program.
Hopefully he doesn't miss as many tip dunks

If Domask is coming off the bench, we are going to be really good next year
Yep, some of these 1st team all conference mid major guys area damn good and under valued.
I recall people not thinking Ben Vanderplaust and Jordan Clarkson were not that good even though they were all conference since they come from mid majors and guess what. They are damn good. Norte Dames new coach is on him and he beat our squad 3x this year. In BU I trust.

Yeah…that’s what I was referring to. With their history it’d be a cool story.
Would Kentucky hire an African American HC … That’s the question …

Which is just crazy to say in todays world but it’s true … Boosters make the call … And that’s old money at both places …

That’s why Oats will be in high demand for both of them … Whoever opens first probably gets him …
Tubby Smith?? Warthog beat me to it.

I am disgusted that this sports program has to fill its roster with castoffs from SIU.

This has not been a good year for Illini basketball

Well, since you asked.

1. Make your damn shot. Don’t assume it’s going to miss. Believing your shot is going to go in is important.
2. If you are shooting, especially from 3, you are not in the best position to get the rebound anyway.
3. Get back on defense.
Where to begin?

1. That’s very Zen and all…I don’t buy it. Sorry. Not everyone is Steph Curry…and not all basketball is the way certain NBA teams play. Even good 3 pt shooters often still miss 60 percent of the time. You can still be confident and choose to follow your shot. Good shooters miss long or short.

2. Ever hear of long rebounds? Depends where you are on the court…Good shooters have the advantage of knowing where the ball might come off the rim possibly better than anyone else since they are the ones who shot it.

3. Depends on a lot of things…what kind of scheme is your team employing? Are you a 5 or are you a shooting guard? You might need your 5 in the paint after the shot…How many players does your coach have designated to crash the boards? How many does he designate to get back on D? If you’re lighting it up from the deep corner that’s different than the top of the key.
Are you falling back into a zone or a man?
Are you picking up from the basket out?
How is your team getting organized after the shot goes up. It all matters.

Nothing destroys team play like chucking up shot after shot and trotting back down the court. That’s YMCA ball.

🐅, Ty, TSJ, Hawk, DD

Luke (with possibly more minutes than DD), SMFH, and Hansberry off the bench

Hell yes, I’m ok giving up a roster spot for a MVC All Conference First teamed joining that group to try to crack the rotation.

If TSJ or Hawkins doesn’t come back, then you dramatically increase your odds of landing a big time replacement, and have the spot for them.

Pros: looks like a like a good spot up shooter, nice little semi-hook, can do a little booty ball, looks to be a heady ball player, has some grit…LOOKS as though he plays within himself…reminds of Goode somewhat.

Cons: not overly athletic, not an instant offense kinda guy, looks slow as hell,

*Doesn’t anyone follow their dadgum shot anymore?? He didn’t follow one shot in that whole damn reel.
Hey, he’s got the same cons as me!
