That’s a nine-man rotation. By January, it’s down to eight, with PGTBD and Hawkins up to 30 minutes, and two others plus-5.

Now we just need to recruit our PG (shameless attempt to keep my comment in the recruiting thread)
Tyger has started all 4 seasons and averaged over 30 minutes each of those seasons. You can write in 30 minutes, at least, in ink if he comes here.

I would be surprised if Amani doesn't average at least 5 minutes a game

Fair. I arbitrarily knocked he and Coleman down and left TSJ at 30. I would think they’d be under 30 for cupcakes, and then all at or above for tough competition. The real question is which guy falls out. But not going to speculate on that.

Many on this board were running down the WCC Co-POYs ability to have a significant impact at this level. I expected to see a similar level of skepticism for far less accomplished players transferring up to power conference teams with title aspirations from low & mid majors.

Dip your nuggets in my staff source sauce.
A point guard who can create is all that's missing. If you look at what Tang put together last year at KSU, it was pretty impressive, but what made it work was that little point guard. One way or another we're going to get one.

I'm saying this mostly tongue in cheek,
Last year: get the studs
This year so far: hey you'll do

I know there's a method to the roster construction, but I think every coach is pulling the slot machine lever every year putting these teams together hoping they get the right combo to be successful.

TSJ and Coleman will both play more mins. If we get Tyger he will also play more mins than you are projecting.
