Joel Goodson

Yep. The ball not getting consistently stuck, resulting in a contested, bailout three with the shot clock hitting zero should also bump the numbers.
According to Sleepers, Brad definitely will dip the portal well heavily versus an anti-portal guy like Izzo. If TSJ and Coleman go, this will be a telling year. Was last year's problem a younglin issue versus everybody new and some of them bought gun? But I understand the concerns for freshmen. Some of them, like Skyy, were meant to transfer after a year anyway.Well, one of the questions he ended up asking later is " Why won't Mayer pass the ball?"
You can assume DGL sees playing time as well and the idea that he would redshirt is more like an invite to move on.I can see DGL getting playing time. PU had two freshmen guards and did a good job. Would like to see the kid from Syracuse. He can rebound.
hard to believe that the offensive strategy wasn't Mayer and/or Shannon going one on one as other players stood around and watched/waited. Hopefully the upcoming season will see more ball movement and players picking and cutting.Well, one of the questions he ended up asking later is " Why won't Mayer pass the ball?"
Position less basketball can only work against so many rosters, in my opinion. Every team needs a true floor general at times.. And if you are going up against a dominant center, you usually need one to match.i have to trust the insiders when they say were not done. i keep hearing
about positionless basketball but that has to include a true point guard
in my opinion.. we currently don't have one ready to play.
eye of the tiger? thrill of the fight.
I haven't seen Morez play, except for videos. Indiana's Jackson-Davis couldn't shoot but he could score. Plenty. As Illini learned the hard way. When Morez arrives, is there any reason he can't be that kind of guy? I wouldn't think so.
Ordinarily I would agree with you. But nothing is ordinary anymore. You've got to find a way to get elite recruits like DGL a lot of PT; not just to add a significant upgrade at the point, but to reduce his interest in the portal. I would hate to be a head coach nowadays in putting together a stable, talented roster to build on.From what I’ve been reading, I wouldn’t count on DGL to start and I wouldn’t count on significant minutes for Moretti. And Morez still has one more year of high school.
charging foul on TSJ..........guess that could be considered a turnover but , hey , I just wanted to post something to feel like I was contributing to the conversation......I really really did.......Hope Shannon returns for one more year. Would like to see him improve on his drive and dish. Last year, when Shannon took the ball to the hoop during half court offense. The result was:
Basket
Foul
Basket and foul
Turnover
What is missing? I am sure he had some assists but don't recall many.
Sorry - Don't consider DGL elite. Sure he is a top 100 kid. Getting significant playing time how has that worked out? Miller, Epps, RJ,Ordinarily I would agree with you. Have to think Knect is out of the picture considering Domask is essentially the same players.Anyone read anything on Dalton Knecht? nothing convincing on line yet. Curious if anyone knows the latest?
Yeah… but have you been thinking a whole lot???I’ve bee n thinking a lot about this.
Not meaning to nitpick words, but I think some of the questioning also comes form their former locations. I do not consider Utah Valley nor South Dakota to be mid-majors. SIU, sure. But trust in the staff as always! We added two mid-major transfers on April 10th that are both 1-year rentals. (Also added a preferred walk-on from a mid-major). As far as buzzwords like "signifigant upgrade", well... time will tell, hopefully so!
My bad I meant TrentDee played 4 seasons, from 2002-03 through 2005-06. He then entered the NBA draft.
Well , considering the DGL comment on being yelled at , at least he won't cry and sulk and pout on the bench and refuse to go back in.........Sorry - Don't consider DGL elite. Sure he is a top 100 kid. Getting significant playing time how has that worked out? Miller, Epps, RJ,
