So if the roster fills out the way I just alluded to… What’re realistic expectations next year?

On one hand…

You’ll have 7 guys who have averaged 9.5+ ppg in a season at the D1 level.

Plenty of experience & multiple guys who have been or have proven to be “the guy”

On the other hand…

Not too much PG or C depth…

Bring back half of a roster that was just a above average team last year…

Last year I had a lot of expectations & was disappointed with how the season turned out. Not because it was a “bad” year, but there was a lot left on the table of what that team could’ve been…

I think the way this roster is constructed we have guys who are more willing to play a role & win rather than either proving they belong individually or playing for draft status…

If they buy in: Top 3 Big Ten Finish, top 5 seed in the tourney…

If it’s up & down again… top half finish, top 8 seed again is probably the floor…

This group should win 21-25 games, and win 11-14 big ten games and I’ll be pretty happy

Get Harmon in there as well … He’ll play …

Is he seen more of a back up 1 or a 2? Same question for Sencire? Is Ty a 1 as well? I want to add Harmon into that rotation but 11 guys seems like a lot & it would be difficult to remove anyone I mentioned… enlighten me Indy.

DGL has redshirt written all over it if the offseason shakes out the way we think it will. I have no idea what the plan is for Moretti though.

A high quality, veteran PG will make a world of difference.
Would have done the same last year.
So, let's see wait and see what Brad lands over the next few weeks.

I thought I saw something that said it Hawkins returning is more of a question than Shannon. Do you get that same impression as well?

Also, is RayJ considered the preferred option (compared to Tyger or the more likely option?)

Redshirts aren't a thing in college basketball anymore, get as many minutes out of a dude as you can before he transfers. Honestly they weren't really a thing pre portal either.

Is anyone with any ability going to redshirt these days? Plus, he will likely be the closest thing they will have to a legitimate back-up point guard.

That's funny but, as a resident of NYC, I disagree with him. I find NYC pizza to be unbelievably greasy. It's almost impossible to avoid indigestion. NYC residents view it as being some sort of 'purity' issue, but they are equally looked down upon by real Italians.
