He was SOMEWHAT convincing as an ex-baller in this:Basketball is not his forte, but acting most certainly is.
Just sayin…

Umm... Yeah. It's all I have.I have strong reason to believe that nobody knows what the heck is going on and that we will back tomorrow talking about the same ole stuff.
I, for one, am thankful our players can't go skiing in their free time.Maybe he wants to be further away from home. Utah is very nice. Skiing. The LDS morality rules issue wouldn’t really matter at Utah; thats BYU’s thing.
He wouldn’t be the first midwesterner that got a look at Western mountains and got seduced into wanting out. Happens to the best of us sometimes.
I get that. But, why settle when you can play in the best basketball conference in America? Gotta think the exposure is much better here.Missed the edit window - Dennis played two seasons at Boise St. Utah makes more sense with that knowledge. Its a move up within the Western footprint.
Agreed, my friend. Live to fight another dayIndeed … Ready for today to be over …
BUT SOMEONE WITH 3 TOTAL POSTS SAID UTAH!!!!FWIW … Baylor staff think he’s coming here …
They “aren’t buying that Utah ”
I'm pretty sure ASU would win every time...just think of all the trips recruits will take there...just to bust a nut and commit elsewhereI think of Dain as a sophomore because last year was his first full season. He only played in 3 games at Baylor so I assumed he could get a red shirt.
Nichi - I like the busting brackets analysis. Why would you go somewhere to fight for playing time. Especially to Pac10 if you are from Illinois
Now if he was being recruited by Arizona State, Miami or USC I would understand

So the first domino falls.............
IMO, our starting pg for the 2024 team probably isn't on the roster. And that won't change regardless of who we pick up in the portal this year.
DGL or Moretti may surprise some people. I'm not writing them off. They both intrigue me for different reasons. But I also think it's fair to say they are both question marks currently, for different reasons. So if my choices are them or the field, I would put my money on the field.
The broader point though is that since Ayo left, we've been playing musical chairs at pg and unless we can develop and retain one of the freshman, that isn't going to change anytime soon.
No it doesn't fall on Coach Underwood period. Mr. Ray Dennis has to consider. He will be the 3rd or 4th option scoring vs. 1 at other schools! He is a slower point guard, not 6.4 or 6.5 and dropping 20 to 30 per game. He need to prove that and with out jacking 20 shots per game!
