Whatever their decisions they are all going through the pre draft process and at the very least getting feedback through workouts with NBA teams. They all have no reason to rush a decision on their future and every reason to delay it. Too many people are taking advantage of this to post controversy to get hits or just troll.

I just caught up on yesterday's recruiting thread this morning, including the descent into Loyalty On the Dark Side of the Moon late last night.
Just fabulous flights of ridiculosity. Bravo, my compadres. Well done. I only wish I could have weighed in (real time) regarding the Team Lascivious v. Team Prude death match. I also had a bon mot concerning the Madonna GIFs and RayJ but it will fall flat at this point. Something about Like a Virgin and the fact that I still (am mortified that I) recall the lyrics to that song and the video of Madonna floating along Venetian canals solely because it played in incessant rotation on MTV during my freshman fall of 1984. My roommate watched MTV constantly (along with consuming innumerable gallons of Old Style and occasional bottles of Old Taylor whiskey, which looked and smelled like turpentine) from early October until the end of the semester to assuage and numb his grief over the Padres sweeping the Cubs. Nearly 39 years later, I can't think about my dorm room in Snyder Hall that fall, overlooking Memorial Stadium and the spaceship dome of the AH) without seeing that video and hearing her whining encomium to deflowering.
I can only hope that RayJ will touch us all for the very first time soon, and that TSJ and CoHawk will return to the buffet for another heaping helping of Loyalty love.

I for one no longer care if we get Rayj or not. I think it would be great if Brad just picked up another solid pg who can run the offense before Rayj announces. This would send a message that after we put our best offer on the table we will not be strung along for weeks and weeks. If Rayj come here or not it is not a good look for our program imo. Give them a reasonable amount of time and say if you haven't committed by then we will move on.
Darrion Sutton picks up an Iowa offer after his Illinois and Mizzou offers. Hard to see him fitting in on Iowa, has never played on a team that scores through the offense. He normally needs to hold the ball and dribble it to score - fairly ball dominant and about as tooth-pickish as Manute Bol. Not sure I can see him doing well in the Big Ten.

Thank you. I do what (little) I can. Goodness knows I have nothing material (or otherwise) to offer on the recruiting front, only the pedestrian observation that the standing vertical jump is largely a genetic endowment that at best can be improved only marginally via diligent training.

You've never changed or delayed a decision when something that could be a lot more life changing pops up at the last minute and you decide to check it out? Pro teams dont set up workouts with guys just for fun, this is an opportunity that he absolutely should take.
No, I don’t think I have ngl. RayJ is not going in the NBA its an opportunity for feedback but it’s silly to think THAT is where he’s going
I agree....the more this drags out and the more contradicting actions come to light, the more I think he falls in the "characters" category versus the character category. You can be a good business man and not behave this way. I'm fully ready to take a hard pass on the dude. If he is eventually "ours" then he's at the bottom of my list of favorite players and I'll have much higher expectations for him...obviously, this is my very personal take on the sitch.

I think RayJ is enjoying the process - and why wouldn't he? - he gets major college programs fawning/bidding over his services and NBA teams can give him workouts and feedback since he declared for the draft. I don't blame him for taking advantage of all the opportunities he can
The only odd part is someone close to him obviously said he was close to a decision and then silence. Maybe his team got the workouts and that's what has delayed things, but in either case - having more distance after his visits likely helps us, so he makes a more clear headed decision. It does appear on paper we are the best situation for him by a pretty good margin, so that's why I think time is on our side on this one

I dressed as Madonna for Green/Wright Street halloween back in 1984, although I went with the Lucky Star outfit rather than the Virgin. Perhaps halloween costumes are today's coffee talk topic...discuss!
