No, we need shooters if Harris , Ty, or possibly Hawkins on the floor we need a shooting point guard. We added Domask, Quincy and guys that can shoot and we can't stop now. As a back up plan fine but we shouldnt be cocky. We need shooters.
Point taken. And I happen to agree with you.

Shannon and Coleman announcements will be first. A lot of positive buzz on both returning right now. RayJ? Who knows. Imo it's down to Illinois and Baylor. But there is someone that is lined up to come if RayJ goes elsewhere and it won't take long.
Per BleacherReport.com, post-NBA Combine:

TSJ: #47 in 2nd round to the Lakers

ColeHawk: Undrafted, with stock trending down.

  1. Coleman Hawkins (Illinois, PF, Junior)
A big part of the pitch to Hawkins is shooting, and he didn't look like a shooter during scrimmages or his pro day. He also wasn't much of a threat when he put the ball down, as he was frequently forced to turn his back to the rim and defender. He's a plus passer, but that seems unlikely to be enough for Hawkins to warrant anything but late second-round interest.

Illinois fans could have told you that and saved you a lot of time.

Hawkins, Rodgers, and Harris should get an apt in Ubben so they can practice shooting 16 hours a day over the summer. Rodgers and Hawkins with a reliable jump shot are in the NBA, Sencire is an all conference player.

My son’s passport was processed earlier this year in 5 weeks without expediting. FWIW
My son expedited his and it took 8 weeks. Just finally got it a couple weeks ago. They’re way behind now due to so many people wanting to travel abroad this summer.

It'll be really funny when everything the insiders have said comes true. It may have taken longer than expected...but so many replies on here make them out to be bad guys/gals with bad information. I hope you realize that they're massive fans and provide this info for no charge. All hail the Orange and Blue!!!!!!!

Exactly. I'm hoping Dra is that "shooting point guard" you mention.

He looks like a “Trent Frazier” but not sure he has the mental toughness to play the defense. Not saying he doesn’t but video can’t display that.

If form is bad, practicing it will not improve it. We kept hearing about TSJ practicing and he shot .321 vs .384 the previous year. Don’t have a cure but simply putting up shots doesn’t seem to be one.

Baylor does make a lot of sense for RayJ since its looking like Flagler won't be returning and will stay in the draft. They are a better program than us with the same sell of starting pg and have a better team around him next year if he cares a lot about winning
Baylor is already briging in two freshman point guards, at one time one was ranked in the top 30.

I hope it is Ray J who is clearly who Brad wants and zdra can fill in and develop. His time will come. I am sure BU has a plan and if possible shooting and experience are part of it going forward.

TSJ shot did improve. You don't hit shots like that vs UCLA if you are not capable. What hurt TSJ percentage was often the poor quality of shots he took. Adding other shooters and a solid PG that can spread the floor will improve shooting for TSJ and really the entire team. It should also open the floor up for clearer driving lanes. Thats why we need a good PG to help do those things for the team. BU knows this
