Ole Miss has 26 offers out to QBs this year. Mercy.

Extremely wild to think Illinois has a chance to sign a HS QB prep recruit from Mississippi that has standing offers from Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

My take on Trey Petty is exactly the same as my take on Cal Swanson:

I will believe we've unearthed a gem to exactly the extent we end up having trouble securing his signature due to outside competition.

This is a good sign!

I'm like Swanson a lot. He has size, has escape capabilities, fast, and has an arm. He just has to put it all together at this level.

I'm sure it's going to be a battle to keep Petty based on his two home state SEC schools increasing their interest. These are the battles you need to be involved and win to be a good program.

Ricky Knight is promoting the crap out of Florida State on social media for a guy who insiders say is turning towards Illinois.

Me, personally, I do not see a flip. He has a connection like cousin or something at fsu and was looking for an offer from there, and closer to home. Lots of things going against a flip.
