That’s kind of what I was thinking. Even if it is noncommitable why wouldn’t you want to at least be there when the team is there? Does his girlfriend go to school there and just wanting a reason to visit?

On a semi-related note, what does it mean to be a "potential" 4-5 star? I am a potential 4-5 star. I'd need to learn to travel in time to trim more than a half-century from my age, as well as to improve my game roughly a millionfold, but the potential is still there. Isn't every player a "potential" 4-5 star?

Focus is on upcoming senior class (24s). Rankings for under classes are progressively shakier/fluid-er for many reasons, not the least of which is that the sample sizes of viewing these kids is really low. Inevitably, very good players will fall through rating services' cracks, especially early.
FWLIW, Batemon looks like a Top 75 kid to me, pretty easily. Another tell is his offers: not a ton, but some really good ones.
