True but Coleman was no stranger to ill advised 3s and even Shannon got way too step back happy imo.
Mayer was streaky but actually connecting on a fairly decent clip until that awful stretch the last few games
Epps and Hawkins being 30% or worse 3 pt shooters and jacking up a combined 8 a game was not good for the offense.
What is the "Major" gap in Domask's game. I think he has a solid all round game. The dude was near the top of every category on his team last year.

wait a second - Same staff coaching last year and this year. Who says chucking last year wasn't the offense? if so, why didn't it change during the year? Regular comments from coach for Hawkins to keep chucking away. Something along the lines of an "elite shooter"
Third highest on the team on one of the worst three point shooting teams in the country isn't exactly something to write home about, while also shooting over 6 of them a game.

The only "Major" gaps would be not being a super explosive athlete or great ball handler. Decent athlete and solid handles yes but not above average by major conference standards. Otherwise he does everything pretty well.

Good point. There is no better time to bring up Matt Mayer, then after someone says, "not getting looks off set plays" and "chucking".
The guy acts had a decent shot, but any guy who bases his play on 1-on-1 moves on the perimeter, 3-pt-launch rate, and sucking down Monster drinks before games is never going to be a reliable D1 player.

For any of you that have watched Young Sheldon....this is the episode(s) where the University Prez gives him an unused dorm to rest and study between classes so he'll quit bothering them, and he then starts innocently lending it out to students thinking they are using it to "study".
