Never did. They never replayed most of the or penaltiesDid we every get an explanation of what Barnes did? I don't believe they replayed it on BTN.
Toledo stunk just as I expected
Ha I beat you to it! Also, I took this for you. It’s from about 20 minutes before the game kicked off. I eat my words today. The students came out in force and stayed until close to the end. I’d say the same section empty here was the first part to leave towards the end, too.48,898.
I think the only penalty they replayed was the roughing the passer. Frustrating coverage by the B10 network.Never did. They never replayed most of the or penalties
Much better in the second, but that 1 almost cost us the game though….1H: 9-90
2H: 1-10
LolAbhorrent fan behavior from students talking !!!! and leaving for 2 quarters then coming back in the final minute in section 110. The cops did their job and figured out who was in the wrong. Keep your 20 year Olds away from the visitors section.
Anyways, good luck the rest of the way. Toledo will be fired up the rest of the way.
The replay they showed was from high up and it was hard to see what happened, if he was blocked into him.I think the only penalty they replayed was the roughing the passer. Frustrating coverage by the B10 network.
Yeah, but the view must have been a satellite shot. You couldn't tell what happened. Somebody hit the QB low after the play was over. Couldn't see why or how.I think the only penalty they replayed was the roughing the passer. Frustrating coverage by the B10 network.
I wouldn't go that far. Very good chance Toledo doesn't lose again this year and ends the year a fringe top 25 team. (their schedule is very favorable)Say what you will about Toledo being solid, etc. but Illinois needs to get to a level where home games against MAC teams (any MAC team, idc how "solid" they are) is an auto-win, over by halftime kinda game and that has been severely lacking. Realistically, Toledo will not be a Top 50 team by season's end.
Ehhh they are probably going to win the MAC again this year.Say what you will about Toledo being solid, etc. but Illinois needs to get to a level where home games against MAC teams (any MAC team, idc how "solid" they are) is an auto-win, over by halftime kinda game and that has been severely lacking. I disagree. Toledo very well may be top 30 by the time the season is over.Say what you will about Toledo being solid, etc. but Illinois needs to get to a level where home games against MAC teams (any MAC team, idc how "solid" they are) is an auto-win, over by halftime kinda game and that has been severely lacking. Toledo was technically ranked higher than you going into the season. They had 4 AP votes to our 3.Say what you will about Toledo being solid, etc. but Illinois needs to get to a level where home games against MAC teams (any MAC team, idc how "solid" they are) is an auto-win, over by halftime kinda game and that has been severely lacking. Game plan wasn’t really to rush the passer…creates huge running lanes for a guy as mobile as Finn. Was to keep him in the pocket(historically he isn’t very good in the pocket)Glad we won, no doubt. Yet, I’m really surprised that 7 pages in and not one mention about how the “law firm” was completely neutralized by a MAC o-line. I mean, almost zero impact on the game. Three man pass rush most of the game giving the QB all day to throw and no disruption to the rhythm of Toledo’s offense. I’d have to give A Henry an F for his defensive play calling in his first game. Hope he’s a fast learner or it’s going to be a long season.
Well, there was plenty of that during the game thread if it makes you feel any better.Glad we won, no doubt. I was confused by the three man rushes, but I also admit I’m not sure if we knew this was coming or not, and they just had a bad game. I kept waiting for more blitzes or stunts etc.Glad we won, no doubt. Yet, I’m really surprised that 7 pages in and not one mention about how the “law firm” was completely neutralized by a MAC o-line.
