Yep. But hopefully for their sake they're getting paid upfront.

Miami has many other "supporters" beyond Ruiz. He's a no doubt big spender, so I expected they might have a little attrition. I didn't expect them to expand their efforts. I still think they'll have issues in the not-so-distant future.

So how much is Duke QB gonna get paid at ND? As much as it sucks that we didn’t make a bowl you have a starting QB opting out along with the head coach prior to the Bowl games. Just shows how meaningless bowl games have become. Just a matter of time before NFL bound players opt out of the CFP. I get upset when I think as a fan but when if I was in their shoes I would opt out knowing I was a draft pick

Totally agree. if C. Williams or D. Maye think "I'm not playing in the whatever bowl" How much longer before the #1 or even top 3 pick decides to opt out knowing it's 3 more games that you could be hurt.

1. I would say minimum 3m
2. Which is why I'm all in on us scheduling teams like Mizzou during the regular season. That event is going to be rocking with both rivalry teams at full strength vs a bowl game in Detroit/San Antonio against Arizona State with any good players we have sitting out

I can't stop laughing at the piles of money. Hopefully he transfers to the beloved after the checks start bouncing...

(Justin Scott to Miami since Twitter links seem to not be working for me)
I really feel bad for Ohio State. Really I do. Especially after just losing for the 3rd time in a row to Michigan. Oops. Maybe their run of dominance in the B1G is over. Oregon and Washington are also coming next year.

Any chance we target Moses Alexander the DB that just entered the portal from Houston? Looks like we offered him out HS/CC, but never got him on campus for an official visit.

My hatred for Michigan and OSU tends to teeter back and forth, but I would love nothing more than for both of them to get overtaken by the former PAC teams.

Seeing a number of UCLA players entering portal. No idea if we’ll be in on any or where these players fall on the depth chart, but might be a weakened Bruins team entering the B1G. I don’t think we play them next year do we?

I'm sure it'll happen, but I doubt it's that common for CFP teams. The players are still competitors, and the CFP probably means a lot to them personally.

The lower bowls are glorified exhibition games. Which are still great, but I get it that some guys are gonna sit out.

Was thinking of him doing this as I read Robert's depth chart. He probably felt like he proved himself (in limited opportunities) in 22-23. Hope the young punter Duley does not do the same someday.
