Very light on real recruiting news, but Illini’s two Ohio recruits advance to third round of state playoffs. Was hoping one of the games would be on TV last night, but no luck. So no idea how the recruits did, but good to hear they able to continue their senior years for another game.

Ashun Shepphard and Tyler Woodard are both Miss. State commits. Good chance Arnett is fired and they do a full search this fall.

We MUST keep him. We are thin at RB and we need to improve in that area. Next year Feagin and Vallentine could be a good 1-2 punch.

"Unforeseen circumstances" makes me feel as if both sides want to make it work but can't. I'm not going to throw out theories but could be a couple different reasons.
