Yeah, when he got chased down against Indiana, that was not the best of looks.Ball security and straight line speed are an issue. That’s coming from guys in the NFL. He’s not really on anyone’s draft board

Can you say “Illini forever” when you don’t even stay as long as you could have?
every team will lose players that they valueThat tweet terrifies me with the very beginning, “first.”
Doesn't strike me as super important for a slot guy, always thought he had great acceleration and lateral quickness. He also is always open, so I'd assume he's a great route runner as well. Hoping he can show up in the combine or senior day and sneak into the draft late.Ball security and straight line speed are an issue. That’s coming from guys in the NFL. There’s gonna be transfers out every yearOh boy is Love the beginning of the dominoes?

Welcome to the new normal: good players testing the NIL market for their final year of eligibility.
is it wrong to believe Valentine has more talent than Love? Not a big deal at all. Feagin is the lead back next year. Valentine coming in. And they are going to look to add another back as well
I guess, if you're the PatriotsDoesn't strike me as super important for a slot guy,
Welcome to college FB , circa 2023 Portal Era........................It happens , just gotta replace at least what we lose and then plug holes we already had................It certainly isn't like the old days of committing and then usually playing 3-4 years at one place......JMHOThere’s gonna be transfers out every year
Jordan Anderson will be definitely the featured back. The coaches love him. Big back with speed & a excellent receiver out of the back field. Feagin will eventually be on the defensive side. Not a big deal at all. Feagin is the lead back next year. Valentine coming in. And they are going to look to add another back as well
the League really really values sticky hands, speed , and heightNFL scouts think it’s important so
Interestingly, I've been waiting 3-4 years for those deep post patterns to IW --- with him creating space and running free 25+ yards downfield. Those opportunities finally came to fruition late this past season, but it really took Paddock at QB to make those routes successful on a consistent basis.Ball security and straight line speed are an issue. These kids are not stupid. They look at the depth chart, just as we do. Feagin, before injury, started getting the bulk of the carries. There's another highly recruited kid coming in. This is what the portal has created. We'll benefit from it as well. No sense in worrying about it. We'll have 6-8 leaving and we'll have 6-8 showing up. This is the new normal, so we just as well embrace it.Not good. Not good at all.
Wrong? No. Uninformed and hopeful? Yes.is it wrong to believe Valentine has more talent than Love?
NFL drafts based on measurables and potential. In general, I'd rather be a UFA vs a low round pick - it greatly increases the odds of you finding a good fitthe League really really values sticky hands, speed , and height
Hopefully they present 6 of them! They will present a figure to him

We've never seen Valentine play one second of college ball. Love was highly recruited as well. None of us know that answer, but at the same time, it's not wrong to believe it.
