Looking beyond Altmyer, are they banking on Petty being THE guy? Looking longer-term, sounds disconcerting that we don’t have the resources to compete for top players, especially considering how important an elite qb is that n any program.

No matter what Taz did negatively, the coaching staff kept putting him out there.
I know that was predominantly because of how thin our room was but I don’t see this as a squeeze out and frankly only hurts our DB room next year.

I think you could see him stay at the P5 level but at mid to low tier schools

Taz has some discipline issues on the field as well as off the field.
Like an Arizona state or Washington state in the pac 12. Not saying that’s where he’s going but schools like that in the power 5 conferences
