Those numbers can't be attributed to one position or to one guy. The ball stopped moving and settling for contested threes happened again. We took 20 in the first half. There was no real effort to get the ball into the paint for easy buckets. Have to credit UT for a bunch of that.7 minutes left and only 6 assists. And you’ll still be saying not having a point guard doesn’t matter.
There have been a lot of stoppages. No subs??? Too many minutes for the 5 on the floor.
I will take this… better to not peak nowTenn. obviously did their homework on the scout and Barnes has them executing every facet of a perfect game plan. Illini can match them, especially on a neutral court, but there are still a bunch of concepts that need to be learned. It appears the Vols have learned from their failures and paid attention....and they will be rewarded with a win. Let's hope the Illini can do the same and be rewarded in March and April.
We scored 98 points last game with 10 total assists. You clearly don’t understand how our offense operates, all good though.7 minutes left and only 6 assists. And you’ll still be saying not having a point guard doesn’t matter.
Conversely, if Ty isn't playing defense and rebounding, he's a liability. One guy is never the reason for a meltdown. Plus, UT is really good.If Domask isn’t scoring he’s a liability.
Not enough, evidently. And definitely not on our defensive endThere have been a lot of stoppages.
The advanced stats are showing that Harmon has been our worst defender this year. Eye test has him and DGL as our worst two on that end of the floor. Justin has done much better the past couple games especially on the offensive end, but his defense really has left a lot to be desired this seasonDGL can't be a worse defensive player than Harmon.
idk, I think CH has had his best game. He has to stay home, they are too good at the next passCH has watched at least half a dozen times as a Vol drives the lane right to him. This is not his best defensive game.
Stat of the game. Highlight, bold and italicize. This occurred while UT pounded the paint and got offensive boards. That's 100% on offensive execution and effort.Illini are 9-35 from behind the arc.
