I agree that his draft stock needs to continue to improve for him to see the big money that he is looking for. That is exactly what will happen if he continues to play as well as he has been playing recently. The qualifiers that I used were continuing to be a real threat from 3 and play with the intangibles (great defense, great facilitator, etc) that he has been demonstrating. Coleman has been vastly undervalued by many fans and those who are judging based on statistics alone. People who know, know his value. I don't think that there is much of a chance at all that he doesn't opt for the draft this year and stay in. From what I have seen, the NBA seems to prefer younger guys with more upside over older guys whose abilities are known. So, I think it may be a worse long term financial decision for him to come back for another year in college if he really wants to be in the NBA. If he isn't projected to be drafted at all in either round, it may make sense to play another year in college and cash in on NIL before going overseas to play, but I don't think anybody is predicting that.Agreed on that’s where he wants to be. I don’t see him coming back but I think it’s ultimately the best financial decision to do so unless his stock goes up a lot higher.
