The second half of the Md game totally different than the second half tonight.
When they start stacking those little 7-0 blitzes, they crush teams FAST. It's been a long time since I've expected an Illini team to score every time they get the ball across the time line.
He might get one more chance in the BTT, but I think that will be IT!
I'm hoping they keep him though.

Quincy Guerrier ... I think has been the MVP of our season ... I mean that dude is playing at such an elite level ... Might be the best cutter that Brad has had ...
Crashes the glass every possession ... Makes open shots ... Never question his effort ... Not hunting for shots ... Just the complete opposite of a certain guy we had last year ...
I just keep thinking about how he was the missing piece on that 2020-2021 team ... And how if Brad had him all 5 years ... How good would this dude be ...

I was trying to think of something sarcastic and hyperbolic to say about winning 7 straight vs. those scrubs, and then I realized I didn’t have to … I have a LITERAL declaration about it:

I think what impressed me the most was how active we were on the boards, particularly in the second half. There were times that we were the only team around the basket for offensive boards. Just beautiful.
Also fun to watch our guys come flying in for second chance points. We stay healthy and focused, we can play with anyone, and everyone should be scared of us
