I promise I’m NOT trying be contrarian. I take your meaning. But…I think he’s more like a bigger stronger Epps without all the BS. (skillset-wise he is at least IMO)
He’s certainly not the scorer Epps is (not as good of a handle, pull-up jumper or finishing package around the hoop). But he is bigger and stronger, a better passer, miles better defender and just overall higher-IQ player

Brad deserves so so so much credit for Domask, Harmon and QG. They have be such a blessing for us fans

He does ... He told me when he got them how excited he was ... How they are his kinda guys ... You are seeing what Brad can do when he has guys that get him and he can coach hard ...

Especially Harmon ... I mean he was awful against Maryland and Brad WENT AFTER HIM in practice ... Most kids can't take that without getting in their feelings and wanting to quit ...

Harmon is going to be the X factor for this team going forward ... Few coaches value their 6th man more than Brad ... And Brad LOVES Harmon ...

Harmon still has another level to get to - shows flashes of it in practice

Coach Underwood learned a lot from last year, indeed.

Get old, stay old ...

If they're gonna be young ... They are gonna be his kind of guys ... And he is running portal recruiting now ... Brad's fingerprints are all over this team ...

Morez said I want Brad to coach me and stayed committed to that for years ... You're going to see tomorrow another guy do the same thing ... That means a lot to Brad ...

Also - Want to give some credit where it's due ...

Our offense last year had me wanting to pull my hair out ... And we have adjusted incredibly this year IMO ... Changed schemes ... Changed personnel ... We play to our strengths and are extremely unselfish ... We crash the offensive glass on every possession ... I love watching it ...

And Tyler deserves a TON of credit for that ...

Now I'm dying to know who's been reading

The list of guys who don't would be shorter ... :ROFLMAO:

If you polled all the Big Ten coaches ... They would say we are the most annoying fan base by far but we are also the most informed ... Not just about our own team but about the league as a whole ... Lot of coaches come on here to read what we are saying ...

Welcome back TJ.

PS: I hope DGL’s mom is happy that he played! /s

DGL is not going anywhere ... He trusts Brad ...

There is a lot going on with that entire situation with his Mom ... I will not talk about it publicly ... We as a fanbase just can't assume because someone from a kid's family is saying something that the kid shares the same thoughts ...

Yep. 👍 …all true.
But both fairly effective snipers…unlike Feliz…AND Epps & Harmon are aggressive and dogged but more finesse than brute force…if you will…
…unlike Feliz who was kinda like a miniature Charles Barkley in a pint size, bully-ball point guard body

But yeah…I really really like Harmon!!!

So, what does Fran think of "Francon?"

I'll admit I wasnt sold on this year's transfers before the season. I was hopeful, but after the Mayer debacle last year....
However, I completely agree with LvIlle- definitely a homerun transfer class.
Still wondering how much of a HR fit and how much coaching adaptation to talent recruited. I.e. loss of PG recruit, change of offense, etc. Next year will probably tell but if you compare this system to Kofi years it certainly shows tremendous coaching flexibility. Defensive system depends on size and it is looking like smaller guards (assuming Fears joins DGL and Moretti). Always thought HS coaches had tougher job as no control of players whereas College could recruit to their system. BU seems to have taken talent and adapted. Has taken role players like TJ and QG and turned them into NBA prospects (Maybe Domask also). Next year will be interesting.

Yea. ON tyler...big kudos on turnaround this year, particularly on recruiting. The 3 senior transfers are incredible.

Tyler likely learned alot last year as the recruiting strategist... and deserves huge accolades for his adjustments and "wins" in recruiting this year.

That's the ticket. Recruit kids like Morez and Ty--youngsters who can take it. Recruit veteran transfers who've been there and done that with great attitudes.

Hopefully, he can keep that magic going.
