Juwan would definitely get talent and a lot of Chicago kids to DePaul… Would just be a matter of establishing and sustaining a strong culture which he has clearly struggled with
Could maybe work for a couple seasons with the right staff, providing Juwan steps aside after recruitment. Still, as a Depaul fan, please give me Schertz.

$$$$ ... And no recruiting ... He's already been to the top of the mountain in CBB ...

It would have to be the right NBA job though or he will stay right where he is ...
i’d love to see him with the Bulls but that roster is a mess

They have $0 in NIL. I doubt he draws much and developing kids has been his issue. Plus that league is not getting easier moving forward.

Think Louisville is Beard's job if he wants it ... Muss very interested in getting back towards the West Coast ...

There are some rumors that Few could be done at Gonzaga after the year ... Does that mean they offer Tommy an absurd contract to come back ? I think it could very well happen and the AZ job could open ... Fully expect Washington, ASU and Stanford to open ... And I have heard Altman might be done at Oregon as well ... Does not have much interest in the Big Ten merge and is under achieving there already ...
Why would Beard want Louisville though? I can’t imagine it’s an attractive job for any coach currently in a good spot. The program is a dumpster fire, and any rebuild is going to happen under the shadow of the ACC eventually becoming a mid tier conference. It’s not like Ole Miss won’t pay him if he continues to win there.

I was just going to ask if any of the schools mentioned herein might poach Hoiberg. Or does he have to produce another year at Nebraska like this one, or better? Or does he have a connection to Nebraska? And regarding Poe's Law statement above, has any Big Ten head coach made a direct move to another Big Ten school head coaching job? By direct, I mean there were no years off (e.g. either coaching at another non-B1G school or maybe being an announcer for a year or two or more) and then going to another B1G school.
According to Wikipedia, Hoiberg's grandfather was head coach at Nebraska back in the day (1954-1963).

I’m hardly an insider, but I have heard a little scuttlebutt regarding Tim Anderson potentially leaving Illinois to be the new head coach at Depaul. Would be sad to see him go but would make a lot of sense for Depaul.
That would be a huge loss for us. Who would be the leading candidates to replace him if that happened?
