Illinois 95, Iowa 85 Postgame

Man, some of the body language from the bench is concerning. Dain & DGL looked like they'd rather be anywhere else but at the game.

Heck of a win and nice to see some guys really step up. Hawkins with a sneaky quiet 30. Minus the 5 TO's, this game was excellent

Niccolo Moretti bringin the mini Italian Renaissance to the second half.

A worrisome win is better than any kind of loss. Point blank. Plus Iowa has been playing much better than their record, as of late.

Shoutout to #4 for a handful of winning plays that helped the team Harmonize down the stretch.

If anything, this game showed once again that we got a lot of different knives with which to carve up opponents. I’m gonna keep faith and look for us to tighten the grip and play closer and closer to our powerful potential from here on out.

I really want to be able to look back at that second half in a few weeks and say that is when we returned to the team we saw before the TJ suspension. It feels like maybe just maybe.

Moretti Dain Amani Harmon unbelievable stuff.

Cohawk wow and TJs defense in the second half was absolutely elite in every damn sense of that word.

Still things to clean up? Sure. LFG

BU trip to the woodshed with these guys paid off. Moretti, Harmon and bench thanks for saving us in the second half. Loving Moretti at point, albeit we are talking Iowa defense he was going against.
