Yes! I wish he would have done it sooner. Not that it matters now but I wish he would have done it last year too.

When you have the possibility of playing two games in less than 48 hours (i.e. Thursday/Friday night followed by Sat/Sun afternoon), you MUST have good bench play to make a deep NCAA tournament run. Today could go a LONG way toward giving the staff the trust to give the bench big minutes at important times in the NCAA tournament.
Looking forward to attending the rematch live in two weeks. It most certainly will not be boring.

IMO the major difference between he and freeman is just opportunity. Hansberry would get big minutes on this iowa team
Not too thrilled with the defense. That is still a big worry at this point.
Hats off to our bench guys, especially Moretti, Hansberry, Harmon, and Dainja. I know Dainja missed a lot of shots but he blocked multiple shots and defended. Moretti was in there for much of the 2nd half so he clearly has Brad's trust at this point.
I wonder if this is a one off deal or if our rotation starts to increase and open up. We thought we had a deep team going into the season. A game like today proved it

Thank you boys !!! Living in the Illinois QC and having fricking Iowa fan neighbors all around and two local boys playing for Iowa I can now go out of the house this week !! 
I am so impressed by Coleman bouncing back from one of the worst 10 seconds imaginable on a basketball court. You never know how someone will react, especially someone who wears their feelings on their sleeves.
And Moretti (sp?) was so cool and unflappable. It was almost like he didn’t know how big this game was…or how we hate Iowa

I really underestimated Iowa. I looked at their 11 losses and thought they aren't that good but they made a lot of tough shots in the lane and got some second chance points, seemed like that led to at least 8-10 points not sure.
Ok, for the "we don't need a true PG" crowd and defenders.....I IMPLORE you, stop being proud, watch the last 10 minutes of that game, most notably the last 5. THAT is what a level headed, calm, game managing PG does for you. Did you see how smoothly that was when he came in? Everything changed.

Never died, honestly. A lot of new faces for them but guys like Sandfort, Freeman, and Krikke are just as annoying as Bohannon, Wieskamp, and Garza were.
