Could Dante Maddox, Jr.--guard at Toledo and Chicago Bloom HS alum--be next year's Justin Harmon as a fifth year transfer? (Also reminds of our pursuit of another Toledo guard last off-season.)

Makes threes (41%) and free throws (85%) at good clips, to support averages of 15.5 points, 3 assists, 4 rebounds and 1.3 steals for a winning program.

I like the kids game ... I have some concerns that I won't get into but two that I can share ...

1. 2 time transfer

2. They might list him at 6'2 but he is more like 5'11 ...

Should be a graduate, no? And 2 time transfers likely won’t matter anymore

Is Dawson Garcia the same guy who was at Marquette, then we thought we were getting before he went to UNC (I think?) then he transferred to Minnesota…and we think he’ll be transferring again, potentially??

Maybe I’m mixing up names or a different guy…I know I could’ve googled but didn’t. Haha.

Any chance Christie tests the NBA draft waters?

Gotta give credit to the sleepers guys, they said that Cam and Max are pretty much the same player and couldn’t figure out why Max was a McDAA and one n done while Cam was basically a borderline 4 star.
Players evaluations are not an exact science……filled of conjectures and personal biases sometimes.

no that's the same game. He was basically all set to come to Illinois and then UNC swooped in with a huge bag of cash. If I remember correctly he felt bullied and picked on at UNC and hated it. Don't think he even finished the first season. Hopefully he still got the money.

That’s awesome to hear. My son played against him. Great family.
Which is why, absent any inside info at all, I would be really surprised to see him in portal. Family, over two high-profile kids, did not change high schools or AAU clubs. So unless something is really sideways at Minnesota, transfer portal would seem inconsistent with past decisions.

Yep he used the same family angle to bale just like Skyy.

Should have given more detail to my answer ...

For the kind of money Storr is looking for ... I am going to pass ...

Still think the kid is a good player ... But he's not elite ... And he's asking for elite level money ...

Is Wisco even gonna come close to the bag he wants?

I’m curious and if you can’t answer then feel free to ignore this, but what is the range for elite level money? I’ve seen outrageous figures in the millions and other stuff that implies top level stuff is a few hundred grand.

Would that be Okani? I take it he has a covid year? Also wouldn't mind a certain 6'2" pg who won't be there until next year.
Okani appears to be a 6'8" PF. Not sure who you're referring to.

I'd guess Indy is referring to CJ Jones. 6'5" guy shooting about 39% from 3, dishing out 5 apg.

Me, I'll pass on the low major players thank you. As well as Domask is playing, his 3pt shooting is actually pretty bad. It's hard to step up in competition and return the same results. Domask has really relied on his size and strength and a very high powered offense. Harmon has been up and down. Overall his stats are better than I expected, but that's because some games he just kills it, then he has those games that make us question why we brought him in.

There are definitely Dalton Knecht's out there. But for the most part, it is less likely that a guy will step up and level or 2 and not miss a beat.

That said I'm very interested in one of Knecht's old teammates, Saint Thomas. Averaging 20 ppg and something tells me, he has powers on his side.

Jalen Blackmon is shooting about 40% from 3 on 258 attempts, decent size at 6'3" and being from Stetson, I bet he smells terrific.

There's still a chance to finally get David Jones, bring back Antigua, bring back a Caribbean player? and why not go to 4 universities?

Not commenting on anything else but he's shot 40% in conference play, for what it's worth
