You felt the need to announce a top 12? Negative points IMO. Attention vs. information. Let me know when you've actually thought about it.

Is it too early to start a transfer thread? My early wish list of players that have at least been rumored to be on the market that we would have some connection to in the offseason are:

1) Dawson Garcia
2) AJ Storr
3) Cam Christie

We would be B1G title contenders instantly if all three happen- our defense would not be any better next year but who cares- we would light up the offense again

Yeah idk... those 3 as a core looks like a .500 conference team to me.

You're taking guys from a mediocre Minny squad and then I'm just not a huge Storr fan. He'd be good as your 2nd/3rd guy but he doesn't do anything other than shoot the ball.

If he wants to come back for another year, I'd put Kalkbrenner at the top of that list.

After that, Christie for damn sure. Garcia and Storr would be fine too, but Christie would make for a star 2G alongside Rodgers!

I got a $100 bill that says Ty isn't our starting PG next season! ;) ;)

I would take Christie but a big pass on Storr and Garcia.. Garcia reminds me of a bigger version on Mayer.

Guess I'm old but I liked it when you didn't transfer within conference. Why not just make an all bigten team to enter in the tournament?
On the one hand, I agree. On the other, NILing a B1G dream team could be pretty sweet. 🤔
Pretty sure I missed the point of your post entirely.

I actually agree that TR is not the PG next year. If he's not starting at PG to start the year, then that'll indicate Butler likely is. I would say DGL but who knows if he'll even still be here. But yeah I think TR will move back to his natural wing position. At least he should IMO, because at the end of the day he's just not a true a PG.

Hope we're bringing in a veteran point guard. From what the insiders are implying, or at least what I'm inferring, we will. Too early to speculate. Have to wait for the portal entries.

Could Dante Maddox, Jr.--guard at Toledo and Chicago Bloom HS alum--be next year's Justin Harmon as a fifth year transfer? (Also reminds of our pursuit of another Toledo guard last off-season.)

Makes threes (41%) and free throws (85%) at good clips, to support averages of 15.5 points, 3 assists, 4 rebounds and 1.3 steals for a winning program.

Had a great career at Bloom. Lost track of him after. Coach's son I believe.
