Painter??? I like the guy, but geez. Real tough coaching a team with the B1G POY and another first teamer. Give me an f'in breakPainter & Hoiberg Co-Coach of the Year.
Painter falls in line with how B10 has treated coaches with the preseason team in the league. You get COTY only if you dominate the B10. In fairness, Purdue did just that. Hoiberg is also a really good candidate. Preseason projected bottom half team finish in the Top 4. I would have preferred the B10 just give it to one of them, but I do think both have very good historic arguments as to why they should be COTY. Meanwhile I do agree that Brad had to do a lot more than either of them behind the scenes this season, but that's not how voting goes traditionallyI definitely agree with Hoiberg. Painter not so much. He had pretty much the same team as he did last year with the same expectations. I think Underwood did a better job of holding the ship a float with all of the obstacles he had to face let alone putting this team together. What I am trying to say is that I don't agree with Painter getting co-coach. No way.
Interesting. Agree with everyone except Perkins. He was one of my last picks for the honorable mentions. So far I'm nailing the Media selections through 2. Only had Braden and Walker swappedAll Big Ten Second Team

How does that not go to Diebler? OSU was a trainwreck. He takes over and wins 5 straight... Thought that was the easiest vote of the day outside of player of the year...Purdue's Brandon Brantley wins Howard Moore Assistant Coach of the Year.
Now that one is surprising. He was definitely one of the best 5 defenders in the B10 this yearNo coleman on the defensive team?
