What is interesting is how similarly constructed their rosters are.So I had this dream of UCONN being this years version of last years Purdont. I turned on the game with 1 min left in the first half. Stetson only had scored 15 points... 15.... UCONN had 50... So I guess it falls to Purdont to be this years Purdont again.

Which is wild considering how many top 10 teams lost on the road to unranked teams this yearTop 3 seeds so far are 8-1 with an average margin of victory of 21 points (smallest 16, largest 34). The three remaining such games are all 1 seeds, and UConn is already looking to boost that average.
What this indicates:
1. Kentucky is a huge outlier so far.
2. The tournament is very top heavy to start.
We could only hope . . . $300 per seat for both sessions of the Sweet 16. $1200-3000 for lower bowl center court. You can get seats at the court ends for $700 . . .If that happens, the Boston regional secondary ticket market will make the Crash of '29 pale in comparison.
Whenever my father heard an announcer or someone say something like "Americans love underdogs," he'd point out: "No. Americans love underdogs who win."Top 3 seeds so far are 8-1 with an average margin of victory of 21 points (smallest 16, largest 34). The three remaining such games are all 1 seeds, and UConn is already looking to boost that average.

NEVER root for the Anti-Christ.One of Satan's players just got ejected, another hurt, and another with 2 fouls. I don't think Yale can run with UConn. No idea what to root for in this game...
I officiate a fair amount of D1 in a different sport. You are correct - at that level, these players know what they can and can't generally get away with. You always have to be on the lookout for when a player is thinking that a referee isn't looking at something.Does Martinelli really need to flail his elbow/arm out like that while trying to grab the board?
I feel like D1 players are crafty enough to know if they look away from their target, they're might get away with elbows like that not being called F1/F2s
That’s the thing about upsets. If you expect it, it’s not really an upset. The rule that i forgot when filling out my brackets, if everyone is talking about likely upsets (Mcneese, Samford, New Mexico), they aren’t likely to happen.
Yep. Lost a bit of respect for him.I love Chuck but listening to him trying to argue against the ejection is something
I hope they win and we get them in the Elite 8 so we can shatter his hopes & dreams.Don’t think Yale can keep up for the whole game, but how great would it be for Satan to get ousted early.
That would be acceptable tooI hope they win and we get them in the Elite 8 so we can shatter his hopes & dreams.
It's the combo of the Auburn homer in him and his reputation as a player that makes him think the game has gone soft.I love Chuck but listening to him trying to argue against the ejection is something
