End of First Qtr - Illini over SB 27 - 16. SB hitting threes but so far Illini are more talented. Nice to see Adelia involved again. Dolan in early for Hobby.

Hats off to our lean, mean rebounding machine. KB with back to back 17 rebound games!! Wow!! Today toss in 19 points on top of all those rebounds. High fives to the kid from Minnesota.
Career high 28 points!! 10 assists for Cookie. First half was some beautiful basketball. Not a bad week to be an Illini sports fan. 🧡🏀💙

Women schedule Thursday 6:30 pm on ESPN+

Men schedule Thursday 9:09 pm. It shows TBS/truTV. Not sure if will change but has that listed for Illinois/Iowa State and UConn/vs likely SDSU

I found out directly from an athletic department staffer at the game on Sunday that no matter who won the game between Tulsa vs Georgetown, we were going to be on the road regardless. The State Farm Center is hosting "Bluey Live" on March 26th & 27th. One of the stipulations of hosting in the WBIT is that you have to give the visiting team access to the arena for practice / shoot around 24 hours before game time. It ended up being a moot point since Tulsa ended up winning, but if Georgetown had won (and Illinois had the better seed), we still would have had to travel to Washington, DC to play the Hoyas on their floor.

Let's just take care of business in Tulsa on Thursday night so we can make the short drive to Indy to see the ladies play at Hinkle Fieldhouse in the WBIT Final Four.

Tulsa has 2 standout players who will shoot it all day. They are also 15-1 at home.

Depends which Illinois team shows up. Bring A or high B game we win, anything less we lose by double digits.

They just destroyed an Arkansas team in the first round that had beaten us early in the year (by one point).
